Invitation and Registration
55th Class Reunion
September 14, 2018
The North Salem class of 1963 is planning a very casual gathering in September. We want this to be a low-key atmosphere: no big plans, no memory book, no speeches, no formal picture, no school tour, no car show, nothing fancy. Just a good time to sit and visit with “old” friends and reminisce about the “good ole days”. Please send in your registration ASAP. You can find us on Facebook: look for North Salem High (Oregon) Class of 1963. Be sure to check our great website: www.nshsclassof1963.com. This website is the only one dedicated to our reunion. There are others out there – but they are not connected to us. The only fees/monies that we will be requesting will be in this info packet regarding the reunion itself.
Friday, September 14
• No-Host gathering at the Keizer Elks Club #2472 located at 4250 Cherry Ave NE Keizer – beginning at 5:00 p.m. Fee is $20.00 per person paid by September 1, 2018. At the door cost is $30.00 person.
• There will be heavy hors d’oeuves provided. You can order drinks at the bar at your expense. If you want to have dinner, that will be available in the restaurant at your own expense. We will have 60’s music playing so you can enjoy listening or dancing. Then at 8:00, the Elks will open the area for everyone to enjoy the live music and dancing.
Saturday, September 15 (Whatever your heart desires)
None of the following events are part of the North Salem High Reunion; they are simply things you might choose to do on Saturday following the mini-reunion.

• Oregon Coast
• Portland Zoo
• Wineries in the area
• Riverfront Carousel
• Visiting with old neighbors
• Oregon Gardens – Silverton

• Possibilities are endless
Current Emails and addresses:
The mailing funds are limited, and we are sure people have moved and/or changed their emails. There will be letters returned because of poor addresses. Some emails will die, and we won’t know which ones. Sooooo please help us locate and inform our NSHS 1963 classmates. If you know of any changes send Penny Barker Holstad an email or give her a call with the info. We want to include everyone! Hopefully we will have some $$$ left in the kitty when it comes time to think about the 60th Reunion. Holy Moly that sounds like a bunch of old people!
Use your separate REGISTRATION FORM to fill in the information and remit your payment. I am currently attempting to get the following form into a printable format, but am having a very difficult time of it. Please be patient.

Your reunion committee has streamlined this 55th Reunion in hopes of encouraging some who have not attended in the past to attend this time. We want a good turn-out. Remember we are getting older and may not be able to attend many more of our gatherings. Let’s kick up our heels and show each other how to rock and roll. Go Viks!
Casual clothing is recommended – remember red & black are always good!
